Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during orthopedic and robotic surgical procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment to ensure patient safety
• Set up and operate surgical equipment, including robotic systems, before and during operations
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies efficiently
• Manage surgical inventory and ensure all instruments are properly sterilized and stocked
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in orthopedic and robotic surgery preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of the OR
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to sterile techniques

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and their uses
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
• Familiarity with robotic surgical systems (e.g., Da Vinci)
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing surgical scenarios
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
