Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Take and record vital signs and document care accurately
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to improve quality of life

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-appropriate) — Pennsylvania credentials preferred
Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to work 8-hour shifts and reliably meet scheduled assignments
Strong communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude
Background checks and any facility-required screenings completed

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Comfortable taking vitals and documenting observations
Ability to follow care plans and report changes clearly
Compassion, patience, and good interpersonal skills
