Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift; specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Support safe patient handling and fall-prevention strategies
Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
Build trusting relationships with residents and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification encouraged or able to obtain
Current immunizations and TB screening as required by the facility
Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
Dependable, compassionate, and a strong team player

Education

CNA certification required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in personal care and ADL assistance
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with basic infection control practices
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Strong attention to resident safety and dignity
