Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control practices
Document care and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or clinical settings is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in ADLs (bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility assistance)
Proficient with taking and recording vitals and basic observations
Familiarity with documentation/charting best practices
Strong teamwork, time management, and observational skills
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
