Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control practices
- Document care and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members
- Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or clinical settings is a plus
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADLs (bathing, toileting, feeding, mobility assistance)
- Proficient with taking and recording vitals and basic observations
- Familiarity with documentation/charting best practices
- Strong teamwork, time management, and observational skills
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
