Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and compassion
• Take and document vital signs and patient information accurately to support the care team
• Help with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and report changes in condition promptly
• Communicate effectively with nurses, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care
• Support infection control practices and follow facility policies to protect patients

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
• Valid state CNA certification/license for Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
• Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift reliably
• Willingness to submit to background checks and required health screenings
• Compassionate patient-centered mindset and strong teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
• Ability to follow care plans, infection control procedures, and safety protocols
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs in a busy setting
