Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As scheduled (Per diem), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living
Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility with dignity
Monitor and record basic patient observations such as vital signs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and changes in condition
Assist the care team by communicating patient needs and concerns promptly
Promote a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
Treat every resident and patient with respect, empathy, and privacy

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid state nurse aide listing or eligibility to transfer/obtain New Mexico listing
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements
Comfortable working night shifts and adaptable to per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proven knowledge of basic nursing care and patient hygiene
Familiarity with infection control and safe handling procedures
Skilled in observation, reporting changes, and accurate charting
Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
