Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts with call as needed, averaging 12 days per month including at least one weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM), 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for cardiac and peripheral procedures including PCI and STEMI cases
Assist cardiologists during invasive cardiac procedures with precision and care
Prepare and maintain sterile fields for diagnostic and interventional cases
Monitor patient status and equipment during complex procedures
Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless case flow
Document procedures accurately in Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

RCIS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience
Proven scrub experience for PCI and STEMI procedures
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac and peripheral procedures
Proficiency with Cerner EMR documentation
Excellent sterile technique and patient safety practices
Ability to work efficiently in high-acuity situations
Clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
