Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 1 call shift per week and 1 weekend call per month (Friday evening through Monday morning)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during a variety of cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventional procedures
Assist with conscious and moderate sedation while ensuring patient safety and airway management
Manage cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors during procedures
Support balloon pump operations and other advanced procedural equipment
Collaborate with the lead tech and team to optimize room assignments and workflow efficiency
Respond to emergent cases and participate in STEMI activations as needed

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
Current California Fluoroscopy license required
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of current cath lab experience
Comfortable with conscious sedation, procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips
No RCIS or CCT accepted

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac and coronary interventions
Vascular and peripheral procedures
General IR and neuro interventions
STEMI receiving facility protocols
Balloon pump operation
Conscious and moderate sedation management
