Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional patient care using radiologic and cath lab techniques to support optimal patient outcomes
• Scrub and monitor during cardiac catheterization and emergent procedures, including Impella and IABP cases
• Document procedures and patient status accurately and promptly in the record
• Assist the cardiac team in peripheral vascular and EP lab procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and the cath lab team to coordinate care
• Respond to on-call alerts within the required 45-minute window and manage emergent situations calmly
• Follow unit policies and work under the direction of the Cardiac Cath manager to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of current Cath Lab experience required
• 1+ years travel experience preferred
• Ohio state licensure required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS current certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with scrubbing, monitoring and documenting in the cath lab
• Experience with Impella, IABP, peripheral lab and EP lab procedures preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced cardiac environment and respond reliably to call

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and ability to provide compassionate, direct care
• Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab equipment
• Accurate monitoring and documentation skills
• Able to scrub efficiently and support multiple modalities within the lab
• Effective team collaboration and communication with physicians and staff
• Comfort with emergent procedures and critical decision-making in the lab setting
