Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients throughout diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
• Operate and assist with specialized cath lab equipment, including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and Siemens Artis Zee C-arms
• Support coronary and peripheral interventions such as PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy with focused, detail-oriented care
• Assist with pacemaker insertions, carotid procedures, and peripheral interventions as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care, including patient preparation, transport, and recovery monitoring
• Collaborate with cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and surgeons to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Cover rotating call responsibilities professionally and respond promptly to emergent cases during on-call periods

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to work in Oklahoma; compact license helpful)
• Prior cath lab or interventional radiology nursing experience and comfort with invasive cardiac/peripheral procedures
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Proven competence in cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
• Ability to work an 8-hour day shift and participate in rotating on-call coverage (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to assist across pre/post-op and procedural areas

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment in the cath lab setting
• Familiarity with IVUS and OCT imaging modalities
• Experience with coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices and thrombectomy techniques
• Operation and troubleshooting of Philips Laser System and Siemens Artis Zee C-arm
• Use of McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic systems
• Competence in assisting with pacemaker insertions, carotid stenting, tilt table testing, and kyphoplasty support
• Pre- and post-operative patient care, safe transport, and assisting duties as assigned
