Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with weekend and night call requirements

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert assessment, monitoring, and intervention during critical cardiac procedures like heart catheterizations, stents, and Impella support
Serve as a key member of the Emergency On Call STEMI Team, ready to make a real difference
Administer medications and manage sedation, keeping a sharp eye for any reactions
Educate patients and families on postoperative care, medications, and lifestyle changes
Handle all documentation with precision, from consents to procedure reports
Collaborate seamlessly with the medical team to deliver top-notch patient care

Qualifications

Active NY RN license
BLS certification
2+ years of Cath Lab, procedural, and sedation experience

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiac procedures including left/right heart caths, stents, balloon valvuloplasty, and structural heart interventions
Strong sedation management and emergency response skills
Excellent patient education and family communication abilities
Team collaboration and documentation expertise
