Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations with precision and care
• Position patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to capture accurate images for diagnosis
• Maintain detailed patient records and follow radiation safety protocols
• Adapt quickly to changing needs, including potential strike coverage

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, and NRP also required or obtainable within timeframe)
• EDAP I/II or ENPC must be obtained within 60 days for ER assignments
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check (pending start allowed)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of X-ray techniques, equipment, and safety standards
• Skilled in patient positioning and radiation protection
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and urgent staffing needs
