Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures while maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and assess patient hemodynamic status, vitals, and sedation levels throughout procedures
• Administer medications, contrast agents, and emergency interventions as needed
• Provide compassionate pre-, intra-, and post-procedure education and support to patients and families
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in Cath Lab, critical care, or interventional radiology is strongly preferred
• Ability to work per-diem with a flexible schedule and pick up call shifts when needed
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making skills in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and recognizing complications
• Comfort with operating Cath Lab equipment and managing contrast administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergency procedures
