Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and a caring touch
• Complete quality assurance (QA) procedures to ensure imaging equipment meets quality standards
• Educate patients on breast health and guide them through the imaging process with compassion
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate results
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety and infection control protocols
• Stay current with BLS certification and continuous learning in mammography

Qualifications

• Active mammography registration (ARRT or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Ability to complete required compliance checks, including health screenings and drug testing
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of mammography techniques and positioning
• Proficiency in performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Understanding of quality assurance and equipment maintenance
• Skill in maintaining a calm and reassuring environment for patients
• BLS certification and up-to-date CPR skills
