Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment procedures

Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Respiratory Therapist license or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Previous experience in acute care setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of respiratory therapy modalities and techniques
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
