Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Document findings and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage to support patient needs outside regular hours

Qualifications

• Active Vascular Ultrasound Technologist licensure or certification is required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are non-negotiable
• DCI/BVP certification is required
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or valid declination
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Comfort working per diem shifts and potential strike coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound techniques
• Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment and Doppler imaging
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality
