Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients, developing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document patient assessments, progress, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, home safety, and recovery strategies
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and set realistic functional goals
• Maintain a compassionate, supportive environment that encourages patient engagement and confidence

Qualifications

• Current, valid Michigan Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet all Trinity Health clearance requirements (background check, drug screen, and immunizations)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in EPIC documentation and workflow
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques and rehabilitation modalities
• Patient-centered approach with a focus on safety and outcomes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
