Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography and radiographic imaging procedures to assist radiologists in diagnosing and treating medical disorders
• Provide direct patient care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring quality and safety for patients of all ages
• Support facility quality and safety initiatives while adhering to local and federal regulations
• Assist with complex and sensitive patient and family concerns, acting as a reassuring presence
• Collaborate with the radiology team to maintain accurate imaging records and deliver excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required
• DCI/BVP certification is required
• Hands-on experience with mammography and radiographic imaging procedures
• A heart for patient care and comfort, especially in sensitive situations
• Ability to collaborate with the radiology team and uphold quality and safety standards

Knowledge & Skills

• Mammography imaging techniques and protocols
• Radiographic imaging and positioning
• Patient care and comfort measures during procedures
• Knowledge of quality assurance, safety initiatives, and applicable regulations
• Ability to assist with complex and sensitive patient and family issues
