Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy physics consultations and treatment planning to ensure precise dose delivery
• Calibrate and maintain linear accelerators and imaging equipment to meet regulatory standards
• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance programs for radiation therapy equipment
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to optimize treatment plans
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff through meticulous monitoring and protocol adherence
• Support advanced technologies like IMRT, IGRT, and SRS using ARIA and EPIC systems

Qualifications

• Active ABR Certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC and ARIA RadOnc systems
• Proficiency with SHARE DRIVE CTC-RadOnc
• State licensure as required (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in radiation oncology physics
• Knowledge of treatment planning systems (ARIA, Eclipse, etc.)
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EPIC)
• Understanding of radiation safety and dosimetry principles
