Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in a hospital setting, including abdominal and OB/GYN studies.
• Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment to produce accurate images for physicians.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure proper documentation of exams.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with the Diagnostic Imaging team to deliver timely, accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• ARDMS credentials (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN required.
• Current unencumbered Oregon Sonography license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ultrasound, sonography, and diagnostic imaging.
• Knowledge of ARDMS standards for Abdomen and OB/GYN.
• Experience with Point Click EMR system.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
