Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions with precision and care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat critically ill patients
• Document patient histories, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Maintain a calm, reassuring presence during high-pressure situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
• Experience in emergency nursing or acute care setting (new grads with clinical rotations encouraged!)
• Strong critical thinking and triage skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing principles and protocols
• Patient assessment and triage
• IV insertion and medication administration
• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Use of electronic health records (EHR)
• Effective communication during high-stress situations
