Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
• Support residents during meals and monitor dietary intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Valid state or federal issued identification for facility badging
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents
• Ability to work evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

• Empathy and a resident-centered approach
• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail in documentation and observation
• Physical stamina for lifting and assisting residents
