Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and at-home care
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure efficient patient flow
• Document patient care accurately and maintain clean clinical records
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are properly sanitized
• Deliver a comfortable, positive experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently with a dedicated dental assistant

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in patient education and preventive care
• Familiarity with dental charting and documentation
• Comfort working in a setting where hygienists do not take X-rays or perform exams
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
