Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility and function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities, adapting techniques to meet each patient's unique needs.
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety practices.
• Create a positive and encouraging rehabilitation environment that motivates patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy techniques and modalities
• Skill in implementing treatment plans and documenting patient responses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
