Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams in abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, neonatal, and superficial structures
• Assist with interventional procedures including aspirations, biopsies, and drainages
• Operate Canon i700 ultrasound equipment and document accurately in Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Provide exceptional patient care while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety
• Participate in on-call rotation and float to other units/departments as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting
• Active ARDMS certifications in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), and Vascular (RVT)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior travel contract experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float to different units and adapt to variable shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, neonatal, and superficial ultrasound techniques
• Skilled in interventional ultrasound guidance and biopsy procedures
• Experienced with Canon i700 ultrasound system
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent patient interaction and teamwork skills
