Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, and sedation monitoring
• Triage and assess patients quickly in a fast-paced emergency department
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of physicians, midlevels, nurses, and techs
• Champion an exceptional patient experience from arrival to discharge
• Document accurately in Meditech EMR and follow unit safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
• ENPC and Meditech experience preferred
• Experience in a large facility or high-volume ED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong IV start and medication administration skills
• Comfort with pediatric and adult emergency care
• Ability to stay calm and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Working knowledge of Meditech EMR is a plus
• Solid understanding of patient experience and satisfaction
