Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized care to neonates in the Level III NICU
• Assess patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision
• Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Educate and support families, helping them understand their baby's care and progress
• Document patient information accurately and maintain a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Tennessee or a compact state
• At least 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required; NRP strongly preferred
• Experience working with neonates or in a NICU setting is a plus
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• A caring, adaptable attitude ready to thrive in a new environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal assessment and care protocols
• Medication calculation and safe administration
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Patient and family education
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new hospital team and culture
• Excellent documentation and compliance skills
