Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days to be assigned)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care to neonates in the Level III NICU
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision
- Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient status
- Educate and support families, helping them understand their baby's care and progress
- Document patient information accurately and maintain a safe, healing environment
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Tennessee or a compact state
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- BLS certification required; NRP strongly preferred
- Experience working with neonates or in a NICU setting is a plus
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- A caring, adaptable attitude ready to thrive in a new environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Neonatal assessment and care protocols
- Medication calculation and safe administration
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Patient and family education
- Ability to adapt quickly to a new hospital team and culture
- Excellent documentation and compliance skills
