Roles & Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality standard CT scans with precision and care.
• Collaborates closely with the ER team to ensure rapid turnaround times for stroke and trauma patients.
• Supports the emergency department in delivering timely, patient-focused imaging.
• Utilizes advanced GE and Siemens CT equipment with expertise.
• Follows AIDET principles to create a welcoming, compassionate experience.
• May float to the main department and participates in minimal on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT (ARRT CT) required.
• Active Florida State license or ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required.
• Experience with GE CT equipment is a must.
• Trauma and stroke imaging experience preferred.
• TerraRecon or reformatting experience is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT imaging protocols and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of Meditech and GE Centricity documentation systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-focused with strong critical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with AIDET patient interaction standards.
