Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with self-scheduling and block scheduling options

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular and general procedures
Assist surgeons during open heart, endovascular, and specialty surgeries
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout every case
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to general OR when needed to support the broader surgical services team

Qualifications

Current CST certification required
BLS certification required
CO DORA license required
Open heart and endovascular experience strongly preferred
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho procedures
Strong sterile technique and surgical instrumentation knowledge
Ability to work efficiently in high-volume OR settings
Flexibility to float between CVOR and general OR as needed
