Roles & Responsibilities
- Obtain and organize supporting documentation for dispute resolution cases
- Transfer documentation to internal and external legal counsel
- Work closely with the Director of Payment Compliance and Manager of Payer Analysis to prioritize work
- Develop and maintain an organized framework for submitting documentation to legal counsel
- Perform assigned tasks and meet deadlines consistently
- Maintain an electronic filing system for all dispute resolution issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience as a legal or administrative assistant (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- No specific license or certification required
Education
- High school graduate or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to foster a team-building environment
- Basic understanding of legal documentation and dispute resolution processes (beneficial)
