Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 30
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders for residents in a post-acute care setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and cognitive function
- Provide therapeutic interventions to assist residents with speech, language, and swallowing difficulties
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on strategies for communication and dysphagia management
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in post-acute or skilled nursing settings is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and modalities
- Understanding of medical terminology and documentation
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Ability to adapt to different patient needs
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
