Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile field integrity
• Monitor hemodynamic status using GE MacLab/Combo Lab system for optimal patient outcomes
• Provide comprehensive pre and post-operative care for cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patients
• Collaborate with a skilled team of scrub techs and monitoring staff during each case
• Assist with EP procedures including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to emergency cases within 30 minutes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state (multi-state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with pre/post-operative care, preferably in a cath lab
• Ability to float between Bryan and College Station campuses
• Comfortable with on-call duties and 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
• Skilled in patient assessment and critical thinking during procedures
• Familiarity with EP procedures like ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proficient with electronic medical records (MEDITECH)
