Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days - Rotating 8- or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; every other weekend, holidays, and on-call required. The unit will work with you to set 8s or 10s to meet guaranteed hours.

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
  • Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients with care and precision
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens Symbia T6, to capture high-quality diagnostic images
  • Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate results and excellent patient care
  • Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed to support both locations
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech, Fuji Synapse PACS, and NMIS
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for weekends and holidays as required

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
  • Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • MRT license or registration
  • IV insertion skills and experience starting IVs
  • Ability to float between Bryan and College Station campuses, which are 16 minutes apart
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging procedures and protocols
  • Proficient in cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
  • Skilled in IV therapy and radiopharmaceutical administration
  • Familiarity with Meditech, Fuji Synapse PACS, and NMIS
  • Experience with Siemens Symbia T6 or similar SPECT/CT systems
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
