Physical Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient
Location: Navasota, Texas

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (no weekends, no call; floats between inpatient and outpatient)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
- Implement therapeutic interventions and reassess progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure smooth patient transitions
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including patients and their families
- Deliver quality physical therapy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in line with the Texas Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy
Qualifications
- Current Texas Physical Therapy license required
- National Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 years of PT experience preferred; new graduates with 6+ months experience may be considered
- Inpatient and/or outpatient experience required; wound care experience preferred but not required
- Ability to float between inpatient and outpatient care within the facility
- MEDITECH charting experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong skills in patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Knowledge of discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Familiarity with MEDITECH charting system
- Comfortable working with a variety of diagnoses including ortho, neuro, debility, and wound care
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to maintain productivity standards in an 8-hour day
