Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop care plans
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging times

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to think quickly and act decisively in emergency situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in managing ventilators, titrating vasopressors, and interpreting telemetry
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in critical care
• Strong documentation and EHR skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-stress environment
• Compassionate and empathetic patient interaction
