Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with braces, Invisalign, and other orthodontic procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout visits
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for orthodontic appliances

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or licensure as required by Virginia
• Certified in CPR or BLS
• X-ray certification (Radiology) preferred
• Prior experience in orthodontics (braces and Invisalign) is a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software for patient records
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail in following treatment plans
