Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care and cleanings to patients of all ages
• Assess patients' oral health and inform them about conditions and treatment options
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote long-term health
• Partner with dentists and the care team to create comfortable, positive patient experiences
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license in good standing
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and radiography techniques
• Proficiency with dental software and patient records
• Attention to detail and a gentle touch
• Passion for patient education and preventive care
