Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest standards of infection control.
• Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
• Provide exceptional patient care and education on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front-office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred
• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with dental practice management software
• A positive, patient-first attitude with excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental care team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate and professional demeanor with all patients
