Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams and procedures to ensure smooth, efficient visits
• Prepare patients for treatment by taking X-rays, impressions, and photos
• Sterilize and organize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote healthy smiles
• Manage patient records and appointment scheduling using Denticon software
• Support the clinical team in delivering exceptional orthodontic care

Qualifications

• Certified or registered dental assistant with experience in orthodontics
• Radiography (X-ray) certification preferred
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar dental practice management software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic assisting techniques and procedures
• Dental terminology and instrument sterilization protocols
• Patient record management and scheduling
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
