Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for a mix of acute inpatient and outpatient orthopedic patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence
• Manage a varied caseload, including outpatient ortho in the athletic club and acute medical floor patients
• Collaborate with PTAs, aides, OTs, and SLPs to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently using MEDITECH
• Adapt treatment approaches for a small-town setting with a wide variety of diagnoses, including ortho, medical, and neuro

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Physical Therapist license required (may be in process at time of submittal)
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Comfortable working with both inpatient acute and outpatient populations
• Ability to pass a profile review and phone interview with the unit manager

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong orthopedic evaluation and manual therapy skills
• Knowledge of acute care and medical/neuro conditions
• Proficiency with MEDITECH charting system
• Excellent time management for 45-minute outpatient appointments
• Adaptability and problem-solving in a community hospital setting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and the rehab team
