Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform other clinical procedures with precision
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other nurses to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Previous experience in med-surg, telemetry, or acute care preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong understanding of infection control and safety protocols
