Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity in a fast-paced ER
- Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics
- Administer medications, IV drips, and emergency interventions
- Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms independently
- Manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen for critical patients
- Collaborate with a single provider on-site 24/7 and with on-call RT for advanced airway support
- Assist with CT transports during stroke activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license (required)
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and either ENPC or PALS certifications (required)
- At least 2 years of Emergency Room experience, preferably in a Critical Access setting
- Ability to work independently with strong practical skills
- Competent triage skills and comfort with EKG interpretation
- Must be comfortable with de-escalation techniques and working with a seclusion room

- Emergency nursing and patient assessment
- Trauma and stroke care
- Cardiac care and EKG interpretation
- Ventilator management (initiation with verbal assistance)
- Medication administration and IV infusion (norepi, nitro, heparin, amiodarone, propofol)
- Pediatric and geriatric care
- EPIC charting system
- Team collaboration and quick learning
