Speech Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: San Francisco, CA
Contract Type: Contract
Candidate Pay Rate: $125 - $87.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders with compassion and clinical expertise
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target meaningful functional outcomes
- Provide focused therapy to improve communication and cognitive-linguistic skills for adult and geriatric patients
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress and outcomes accurately and professionally
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or similar settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of adult and geriatric speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Strong documentation practices and outcome tracking
- Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Patient-centered approach with effective communication and education techniques
