Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM; Weekend call Friday-Sunday nights and select holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform 10-15 high-impact ultrasound studies daily, from abdominal scans to OB viability checks
Masterfully operate Philips Epiq Elite US equipment to deliver precise diagnostics
Collaborate with ER teams on urgent cases like arterial and carotids in a bustling county hospital
Ensure meticulous probe cleaning with Trophon and accurate cervical length measurements for OB patients
Contribute to patient care across a diverse population, making a real difference in their outcomes

Qualifications

RDMS - AB abdomen certification required
RDMS - OB/GYN certification required
BLS certification
Vascular experience preferred
Willingness to take weekend night call and holiday coverage

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ultrasound procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis locals, DVT, scrotum, transvaginal, aorta, and segmental pressures with ABI
Proficient with Philips Epiq Elite US, Cerner EMR, and McKesson PACS
Skilled in baby brain scans for bleeds, abdomens, pelvis, and kidneys
Comfortable with high ER volume and varied patient types
