Shift Type: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for 20 surgeons across multiple specialties
Serve as a vital liaison between surgeons offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff
Ensure all cases align perfectly with ASC policies, block utilization, and surgeon availability
Manage schedule adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-ons to keep patient flow smooth
Optimize daily case volume and room utilization by coordinating with anesthesia and nursing leadership
Maintain precise scheduling data in the ASCs system while upholding HIPAA and accreditation standards
Deliver outstanding customer service as the friendly face of the ASC
Tackle additional administrative duties with flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Experience in surgical scheduling or outpatient surgery center operations preferred
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple surgeons and specialties
Knowledge of ASC policies, block scheduling, and regulatory compliance like HIPAA and Joint Commission

Education

High school diploma required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare administration preferred

Sound judgment and flexibility in fast-paced settings

Attention to detail for accurate data management
