Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments to patients with breathing challenges like asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Manage advanced ventilators including Servo I, Hamilton and V60 machines
Perform critical procedures and ABGs to improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with physicians in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Provide compassionate care in a high-volume 437-bed facility

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
2+ years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Florida RRT license or compact state eligibility

Education

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Completion of accredited RRT program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Experience with Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, CPAP and BiPAP machines
Trauma experience preferred
Critical thinking in fast-paced settings
Team player mindset with patient care focus
