Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care during your shift, ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality rehabilitation services
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of compassion, safety, and teamwork
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, assess response to treatment, and intervene promptly when needed
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and facility policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or compact state
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of nursing care standards and best practices
- Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles
- Skill in delegation, supervision, and team coordination
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
