Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Delaware
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccine or documented exemption
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing procedures and standards of care
• Skill in administering medications and injections
• Ability to operate medical equipment and monitors
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Strong observational and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
