Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
- Educate patients on orthodontic care and proper oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using Denticon software
- Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Active Orthodontic Certification required
- Proficiency with Denticon software
- Experience in an orthodontic or dental setting
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
- CPR certification a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Skilled in dental radiography and X-ray safety
- Comfortable using electronic health records and Denticon
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean, organized workspace
