Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing duties for cardiac catheterization and peripheral interventional procedures, including PCI and STEMI cases
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique
• Monitor and document hemodynamic data accurately during procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to provide high-quality patient care in a busy 2-suite Cath Lab
• Operate and maintain Cerner EMR and imaging equipment
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely response for emergent cases

Qualifications

• Must hold RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Must have scrub experience for cardiac and peripheral cases, including PCI/STEMI
• No radiology license required, but must be comfortable with a variety of invasive procedures
• Valid driver's license for identification purposes

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
• Proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Understanding of hemodynamics and sterile technique
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
